Display Latest Posts from Another Blog

Hi all

I have an old blog with good traffic and a new one with little traffic. What I am looking to do is pull the latest 5 blog posts and display their title hyperlinked to the individual URL at a prominent position (say below the header) of my old blog.

Now since, I would also want to help the new blog with Google juice, I want it to be with a server side script and not client side.

Can someone suggest how I go about it? I searched the forums here, and someone suggested RSS widget, but that only helps in the sidebar, and besides I don’t want a Javascript code.
