Is there a way to have the function of this <?php wp_get_links(x); ?>, where x is the id number of the link category, so that it will display the last 5-10 links added regardless of each's category marking? I've google searched the site for a simple solution, but found none other than Rebel Pixel's complete linklog.

as a short-term solution, i could just double post each link into a general category and call that into the function...how much space would that build up over time though with a decent size of links?
