Note that the posts in blog index pages have a consistent width. The theme is designed this way, and you got to really hack into the code if you want to reduce that and accommodate more columns in the same container width.
That said, you can enable the layout to have more columns in wider viewports. Simply open the style.css file and scroll right to the bottom of the file, and you’ll have a piece of code to be unlocked.
