[resolved] Display date in another way? (7 posts)

    Great plugin, thank you.

    I'd like to tweak it a bit and change the way the date is displayed.

    Now, the date is displayed as: year-month-day

    I'd like to change this into: day-month-year

    I'm guessing I have to change the PHP code into: echo date('d\/j\/m\/Y');

    But I'm not sure if this is correct or which code I should replace...

    Yes that's correct you need to change the code. Although this will be an option in a future version of the plugin (hopefully soon).

    You can check which format you need from here:

    Thank you!

    But where do I find the code I want to change in the plugin?!

    Line 429 of wp-rss-aggregator.php:
    $date = date( 'Y-m-d', intval( get_post_meta( get_the_ID(), 'wprss_item_date', true ) ) );

    Great! Let's see if I can work something out.

    Thanks again for the plugin. One in a kind (which is strange, I'd think almost every site needs to aggregate feeds from other sites).

    I especially like the possibility to select the feeds that should be displayed (by simply deleting the unwanted feeds).

    That was easy, I changed 'Y-m-d' to 'd/m/Y' and now it's just the way I want it to be.
