Display an individual Feature page using a Page template

Hello everybody!

I’m trying this plug-in out and think it could be very interesting. However, since I like to customize a lot, there are a few questions.

As far as I can see, an individual Feature page is displayed using Single Post template with comments closed. It’s not the most convenient way, because it pulls the date, the post author, the category/tags and the annoying “Comments are closed” which is used in the majority of themes out there.

I’d like the individual Feature page to be displayed using Page template of the theme, preferably. Or at least to have its own custom template.

Is there a way to do that?
