How do I display the album (NOT gallery) title and desc in the new compact album (nextgen-gallery->products->photocrati_nextgen->modules->nextgen_basic_album->templates->compact.php) using NextGEN 2.0.66?

I was able to display it before (NextGEN 1.9.x & earlier) using <?php echo $album->title ?>. This no longer works.

Do I have to use the legacy code, for the NextGEN 2.0+ versions, as this forum shows: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-with-displaying-the-album-name

@lbeaty – If you want to change the look of the album display the easiest would be to use the NextGEN Legacy templates included with NextGEN Gallery (and most likely the same code you used before).

Look for these templates under: /products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view
