   I originally created my Word Press site in its own folder, with a /wordpress URL, apparently not a good idea. With the guidance of a Go Daddy agent I just shifted the site into my root folder, and the site works and looks fine from my own computer, both getting to it from the backside and from a web browser. However, when I went to the site from another computer in the house, the header image was missing, replaced by a question mark. The code for the image is still where it should be on my site. Does anyone have any idea of what's going on?

   Refresh both computer's browsers local cache.

   Does this mean emptying the cache? I see no control for refreshing it (Safari). Also, I discovered that my song files, while visible, do not play (get the wrong page message), and the add to cart buttons don't work. This is strange, because I tried a song before I hung up from the conversation with the Go Daddy agent, and it worked fine.

   I refreshed the cache on both computers and nothing happened, save that I lost an image in the body of each page when I brought up the site on the other computer. It's still there on my own computer.

   I'm not quite sure why this isn't a good idea. Lots of people do it.

   As for the images and songs, consider where they are stored and how you linked to them. An absolute link (which starts "http://") should show up just fine, but a relative links (which only gives the last part of the path) would cause this sort of problem if you moved your WordPress installation.

   The agent at Go Daddy told me it wasn't a good idea and that people don't have web sites with /wordpress at the end. I'm a relative newcomer to Word Press, so I took him at his word.

   The song-snippets are stored locally, and the full versions are hosted by E-Junkie. I uploaded the snippets and the images from my desktop through the dashboard. I suspect that's not what you meant by where they are stored and how I linked to them. Where do I find the links? Thanks for your help.

   Okay, removing "wordpress/" wherever it appeared solved most of the issues; I got one image that appears on all the pages and all the songs back. However, the image that appeared in the header on all four pages is still missing, replaced by a question mark. There is no code for that image on the individual pages (that I see, at least), and I couldn't find anything that looked useful in the header.php in the editor of wordpress-admin. I tried to upload it again from my desktop, but the attempt failed.

   Also, when I press the add to cart button for one of the songs on the music page, another song appear in the cart,--as it does, by the way, when I press the button under its own title further down the list. When I try to add two other songs to the cart, I get a message saying "This product combination does not exist." The other songs appear in the shopping cart as they should. Finally, when I tried to upload another song, the system wouldn't allow it.

   Do you have any ideas what may be going on?
