• Sorry if the subject is a little confusing.
But I’ve got some sub folders on my domain (http://domain.com/sub/folder/ for instance) that are being published to via blogger (don’t ask), and need to stay that way.
but since installing WP, those sub folders are now controlled by WP and not displaying the blogger content or anything.

Is there an htaccess trick or something else I can do to tell WP not to bother with those sub folders on my host?

    thanks!!!!

  • are these folders inside your wp install?
If not, the .htaccess in the root of wp shouldn’t mess with them.
    what is your setup like?

right now it’s got the wp folders at nicksantilli.com/wp-folders but wp controls the entire site, starting at nicksantilli.com

the sub folder in question is nicksantilli.com/priv
inside the /priv folder is an htaccess with simple password protection.

i’ve been out of this stuff for the past 3 or 4 years, and have gotten fairly stupid not using it all the time. So any input is greatly appreciated.

    thanks
