Disabling the flash media uploader

I’ve tried everything in the sticky post to get the flash uploader to work after getting the Fatal error: Call to undefined function image_downsize() in /home/neonlime/public_html/wp-includes/post.php on line 2326 error. Now I just want to disable it (unless someone else has tips). Where do I put the disable code in the sticky post?
