Disabling SEO for 404 pages (1 post)

    Due to special needs of my theme, I had to intercept 404 pages and display different templates depending on the url. Those pages are generated from the data coming from a different system.
    My problem with AIOSEOP plugin is that it replaces the custom title I generate for those pages with the one set in the plugin options for 404 pages. My current solution is a two-line hack in the plugin, but I would like to know if there's a way to do this without changing the code?
    If not, is it possible to make a request for a functionality like this?

    My change is in the aioseop.class.php file, at the beginning of the function replace_title():
    if (is_404()) return $content;

    Best regards
