[resolved] Disabling Menu Items doesn't work any more in WP >3.8 & Plugin Admin Menu Editor (5 posts)

    Since installation of WP 3.8 with plugin Admin Menu Editor active disabling menu items for all users doesn't seem to work any more.

    In my case I've disabled tools.php either to all users or to all but adminstrator role users.

    I'm having issues with menu items not being disabled as well.

    I do not have the Admin Menu Editor plugin installed.

    @jasonmj: can you explaine your problem?

    @VOlker E.: Have you check this wothout the plugin Admin Menu Editor? Adminimize change the default WP varibale for menus, submenus, not more.

    I do not have the Admin Menu Editor plugin installed.

    When I select menu items to hide from specific user roles, they are not hidden as they should be. However, it does work with items that are located in the top menu bar.

    @Frank Yes, I've checked without Admin Menu Editor activated and it works. Still irritating.
