   Hi,

   I've been trying to figure out why an embedded flv video isn't appearing on my main post page even though it's working fine on the individual post page in addition to all of the category pages it appears on.

   The only thing I can see that's different in the HTML is on the main home page longer posts (such as one with embed code) are clipped and end with a [...] - is this a theme issue or a wordpress default or could is possibly be a plugin (even though I've disabled all plugins with the exception of stats and comment spam filter)

   Examples of the flv showing up correctly:

   http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_excerpt

   your home page template (index.php ?) is probably using the_excerpt() in the code; try to replace it with the_content()
