Disabling dropdown menu's (7 posts)

    Hey hello,

I am using the menu function of WordPress 3.4.2 as it is very good and easy to use. To bad I can't find an option where I can turn off the dropdown menu's.

I searched this forum and tried some of the suggestions like changing depth or wp_list_categories. But I can't find the place to change it.

I'm familiar with html and love to learn more about editing and creating websites, but I'm just a beginner, so excuse me if I ask a dumb thing.

My website is currently under maintenance so if you need to login I'll just send you a login :)

Thank you very much for your time,
    Best regards,
    Bart

    Any ideas ?

  3. Please do not bump, that's not permitted here.

It should be at the location where you can customize the navigation menu.

If you can customize the menu then you can set it up as you like.

As that's a commercial theme, and we don't support those here, you may want to contact the vendor for support.

Part of the fee you paid was for support and you may as well use that option too.

I'm very sorry, I thought this was an open forum.

Oh now I understand! How dumb of me.
I actually expected if I put in subcategories under a parent and then clicked on the parent, I was able to see the subcategories as some kind of menu or page. However these subcategories don't even show. They don't show as it's own, but altogheter.

Is it possible to have a kind of menu when you click a parent to have the submenu's as options?

    Thank you for your responce.

I'm sorry but that sounds like a theme-specific issue. You need to contact the theme's vendors.

@sublingua - this thread is months old and about WP 3.4.2 - I assume you're not using that still? So please start a new thread and also include more info in your post per
