Is there any way to disable the word count? I know it's persnickety, but it annoys the heck out of me to see that thing updating constantly. I would much rather have something either that only updates when you save the post or not at all. I'm sure there's some way to turn it off, but I don't know of it as I'm really just getting started.

wp_enqueue_script('word-count');" from "post.php" seemed to work. Anyone know if this will cause something else to bomb?Thanks again.
