Disable Username validation | WordPress.org

Hello,

I have copied over the file theme-my-login/templates/register-form.php and disabled the username field BUT how do i disable the validation requiring one to provide a username ?

You’re going to need to use a hook and “fake” a username or just make the username hidden and generate a random value in it with wp_generate_password. It is required.
