    How may I disable all of the built-in WP themes and stylesheets so that I can have plain text only in my site that is subject to my own themes and CSS?

    Thanks.

    Well, if you have your own theme - just select it in the admin > Presentation menu.

    Yeah, I could do that, but what I really want to do is remove all formatting and themes so that the text is subject only to my primary CSS and doesn't have any of the header graphics that come with the WP default theme.

    Thanks.

    Nevermind. In header.php (in any theme) I found this line:

    <style type="text/css" media="screen">
    /* To accomodate differing install paths of WordPress, images are referred only here,
    and not in the wp-layout.css file. If you prefer to use only CSS for colors and what
    not, then go right ahead and delete the following lines, and the image files. */

    So I did that and it worked.

    Thanks.
