Hi, is there anyway to disable the slideshow for the plugin?

I had a look at the settings but could not locate anything resembling a disable. I also searched Google but the results I found said it was not possible, and some even gave hacks to remove the code from within the WordPress template page (obviously for future scalability I don’t want to do this).

My front page has the album view, which goes to the gallery view displaying the images from the gallery. The [Show slideshow] link is at the top of the gallery page, and I don’t want a slideshow 🙂

    Thank you,
    Clancy.

  • Just looking at Gallery Settings options, and you’ll find “show slideshow link”… Yes or No

    Hi Clancy.bird

that is really simple to do. Have a look into the gallery settings into the dashboard. You will find there the option “customize the display settings” for thumbnail galleries.

At the last position you will find the option “Show slideshow link”.
Set this option to “no” and the link for slideshows above your thumbnail galleries will not be displayed longer.

You can set this option into the general settings for every gallery. Or you can set this for several galleries if you insert a thumbnail gallery with ATP into sites/articles.

Also have a look to the documention of NextGEN under this link:
