  • @bcm924: Recommendations are based on user traffic and it will slowly evolve. Once your visitors start visiting the articles more, the recommendation will show those instead of other pages.

    But if you want to disable it right away, you can use the ‘linkFilter’ configuration. For this, first you need to switch to the Custom API Configuration which is available on the top-right corner of AddThis Smart Layer plugin options page. You may configure the smart layer as per your liking, and then in the Recommendation layer, you can include the ‘linkFilter’ option.     Basically you need to know the pattern of urls you need to disable and write up the logic for that inside configuration.

    Thank you for the response. I have successfully removed a page I did not want to show up in this way. However, I now have a new issue after modifying the API. One of my draft posts is showing up in the recommended box under the title “Page not found”, and when you click on it, it pulls up a draft preview of a post I am working on that has not been published. How do I fix this?
