disable image #'s when gallery/dump added to home?

how can we hide the image numbers which are appearing when a new picture gallery (pic dump) is added to the homepage?

we would like to hide the image numbers inside the red box in the above linked example. this gallery / dump had 12 images in it, so for this post it reads: “123456789101112” – we need to hide these numbers asap. please let us know how to do so. thank you.
