• I want to remove the “global dashboard” for regular users – I hate the redirect or landing page – It looks like a site dedicated to word press site & not like my site.

I want people who registrar to feel like they a part my club , not the word press club…

    I registered as a “new user” , here is a pic @http://wigohere.com/cliped.jpg

I’ll bet you cant tell what my website is based on the pic provided…

Does anyone else find this to be ridiculous?

    issue #2
I searched for this issue – however it would be nice if you could filter the results.
one obvious filter is “sort by date” I don’t want answers from six years ago …

I will post this one separately …. Just wanted people to know i made an effort … Thanks!, Dot

  • Two alternatives for Issue #1:

    1. Create a private WordPress Page just for your users, and have them login on it, so they don’t see the Admin panels. You’d also have to build your own custom Post building facility on that page.
    2. Customize the Admin panels

You can search for Plugins to do either of these. For example, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/custom-admin-branding/ appears to do the second item above, but I’ve never tried it.

If you can’t find a Plugin to meet your need, you’ll have to do your own PHP programming to make it happen.
