I love the image uploader in 2.0, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to disable automatically generating thumbnails?

I don't think I've found any thread like this because I am looking for a solution to this problem as well. So, *bump*, can anyone help out here?
It's kind of frustrating knowing some of the thumbnails generated are even larger than the original size ones. Especially since I took pains to resize and optimize in Photoshop first. :)
