    Hi all!

We've been using WP for a couple of recent sites, both as a blog and CMS. Obviously it's all working very well and everyone involved are very happy, not least us since it's a very nice and clever piece of software to work with. When we get more clued up, we can hopefully input more in terms of plugins etc.

I wanted to check if someone has any ideas about plugins (or other solutions) for creating a directory? I've searched, but to no avail.

A new website we're building will have a yellow pages of sorts, where companies are listed by region (mainly) and a visitor to the site should be able to create an account where they can submit (and later edit) their own details - submission is to be verified by admin.

My question would be whether WP is suitable for this, or whether we should use Joomla instead? The reason we would like to use WP is obviously because it's quick, simple, great to use and clients never have trouble understanding the control panel!

If someone has any plugin suggestions or other comments, please feel free to post!

    Karl

As a reference for someone else looking for this, a friend posted me these links/plugins, which might partly do the job:
