    Hi,
I am developing a Flaash frontend and need to post Comments using a Flash Form.

Can I call the comment form like this from Flash?

    http://www.mysite.com/wordpress/wp-comments-post.php?comment_post_ID=70&author=sajid&email=ss@ss.com&url=test.com&comment=tteesstt
    Thanks for any feedback.

After writing this, I feel that this can be a possible spam friendly URL :)

If anyone comes to know about my blog URL, they can then post comments like this.

So as an afterthought, Is there a solution to post comments using Flash based form?

    Whats the trick?

This sounds like the actual comment form URL is not the hard bit, but the Flash part.

In the example URL above, you are also including your email address ..

As you are working with Flash, I think your best chance of help would be in the Macromedia forums.

No, I tried sending the above URL in my browser window and all I got was a blank page....

Does writing the above URL work the way I am expecting it to work?

    thanks

I am working on something like this right now. Does the URL work that way?

The comment form code is specifically looking at the $_POST variable, so comments submitted using the GET method (like above) will not work.

But it's a standard form POST, so if you can do a POST using your app, it'll work okay.
