   THEME: Digital Statement
   WP: 2.9.1

   I have just installed Digital Statement on my site but whenever I click on a post to read the full story my background looks nothing like the live demonstration of the template, which can be seen here.

   Can someone please help me with this?

   ALSO...

   I would like to remove the two bottom boxes in the right sidebar containing:
   1.1 Categories
   1.2 Archives
   1.3 Links
   2.1 Updated
   2.2 META (Would like to have this moved to the NAV bar)

   Is this possible at all and can someone please guide me in the right direction?
   It would really make my day :-)

   an amazing large number of validation errors for a new installed theme:

   i would try and contact the theme author, or use a different theme.

   it is also possible that some plugins are causing this;
   try and deactivate all plugins and see if the errors are gone, particular the single post display;
   if yes, re-activate one plugin at a time, and see if the error reoccurs.

   Well....

   I can see that the demo site I compare to passes without any errors, so it must be possible to fix it somehow.

   I am all for validating ones pages, but I have to admit that functionality is the main concern to me, rather than some technical mumbo jumbo.
