Digital Download of MP3 not forced to download. Streams instead.

    Hi,

    I have MP3’s for download in my store. However, when a customer makes a purchase, the link that they get opens a new tab and the MP3 starts streaming. In this way, it also reveals the direct URL of the file which is a security risk.

    I have “Force Downloads” set in the store settings.

    Any advice what could be wrong?

    Ok I have figured out that it is because I am uploading my files in my own directory outside of “woocommerce_uploads”

    Now. Does anyone know how I can use my own directory and still make this work?
