Difficult to use gallery on iPhone

Hi, I’m using Easy Fancybox to have a thumbnail open up a gallery that you scroll through with left and right arrows.

On Android, I can tap to advance each image in the gallery (although I can only see the arrow for a second when I tap down).

On iPhone however, you have to hold down and gives you a menu that says Open or Cancel and if you hit Open it goes to the next image. There doesn’t seem to be a swipe functionality built in and I can’t double-tap to advance the images either.

This is really cumbersome to use – is there anything I can implement to make this easier to use for mobile? I really like this plugin and have already implemented it so I’m just looking to make it a better mobile experience.
