[resolved] Different themes showing up in different browsers! (3 posts)

I just finished creating a custom theme for a client's WordPress installation, by modifying an existing theme, and sent him the link to view it on a test site, only to find that what he was seeing was not the custom theme I'd created, but the original theme I based it on (equiX).

It wasn't a browser cache issue, because he hadn't looked at the site before. With a bit of experimentation, I found that it's loading the custom theme when viewed in Firefox, but the unaltered equiX theme when viewed in IE.

Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening? I'm going to go through the template and stylesheet and see if I can find anything, but I was wondering if anyone had encountered that before.

If this is a 2.0 install it might be related to this topic:

OK, just solved my own problem. :-)

There's a bit in the header where it loads an alternate stylesheet for IE, so I need to re-apply all my tweaks to that.

I don't know how I failed to notice this when I was working on it last night, but I blame sleep deprivation.
