Would anyone know why I get such varied stats between CyStats and StatPress?
(I have both running and they report different wildly different "visits/hits", etc.)

    cheers,

I've asked the same thing in regards to google analytics. This plugin reports false statistics and is of no use for someone that wants to monitor their statistics in an accurate manner. I've even posted on the forum for this plugin and the author never responsed. Apparently they just don't care about giving accurate stats.

    StatPress records stats in real-time.

My tech-guru said for "accuracy" use: /cpanel > "Web/FTP Stats".

    "StatPress records stats in real-time."
    ...and "CyStats" doesn't?
I guess it also depends on the settings of the "stat-recorder", like, how long does a user have to be on your www to register as a "visitor"? (15, 30 ... 60 seconds?) etc.

    cheers,

Web/FTP Stats is definitely the most accurate.
