Different sections

    How would I create different sections such as where I have pages of posts or other blocks of information and such? I want to do something similar to http://www.vogue.com/ where if you go into different categories it’s under /fashion/ or such. Would this be equivalent to pages on wordpress? And would I be able to do sub or sub sub categories like vogue has it /fashion/street-style/ etc.?
