You can see the screen size width data for users in the plugin settings page. You need to adjust your screen size to match the widths to view different heat maps. I hope this helps. Daniel.
i am seeing heat maps returned for dozens of different screen sizes, all random widths used on desktop browsers i assume, but no way to see all the data for a given page at once (which is what i want to see), only by slowly resizing the browser window until you hit one of the sizes listed ?
is there any way to see all clicks on a single map disregarding browser width ? my site is static width so browser width should not matter i think

Hi Sam,
Is your website container aligned to the left, or centered? If it is aligned in the center, then clicks and taps will be inaccurate if we ignore the width. I’m working on a major update for the plugin, possibly with a new name, and will add an ignore width option and let you know. It will also have some new features to make it easier to match widths with the heat map data.
Thanks,
Daniel.
Hi Sam,
Version 3.0 is now available with an ignore width option.
Thanks,
Daniel.
thanks daniel, this is much better for my current needs 🙂
might not be quite as accurate but it does tell me which sections and areas are being clicked on or not, and the data i have already gathered has helped me with some re-design decisions
thanks again, great plugin

Is there a way to resize the browser when viewing heat maps? I have to keep trying different sizes until I magically find right size. Are there any browsers that tell you your screen size so one can know if they should be going wider or more narrow?
In the plugin admin page, you can target different heat map widths. When viewing the heat map, a small information panel should appear on the bottom right showing the current width, browser zoom level, device pixel ratio and target information to help you if you selected to view a specific heat map from the plugin admin page.
