    I need to set a different image as header for each page on my website.
    at the moment i changed the branding img size as i wanted and crop manually an high quality jpeg and set a a fix header:

    #branding img {
    height: 225px;
    width:900px;
    }

    works fine.

    now i have 6 pages and i have the other 5 images edited and ready to go. but from dashboard i cannot edit apart a random selection of images (the one i uploaded in my media). how is it possible to do so?

    css: NO
    wordpress dashboard: does not look like:

    someone can help?

    If I understand correctly, you only need to set the desired image as the featured image on the corresponding page.

    Multiple header files ?

    `<?php get_header( 'new-header.php' ); ?>

    You could make as many different header files as you need, so that a new header would display for index.php, page.php, single.php, comments.php etc. ?

    Or positon the featured image for each post where the header would go ?

    I've tried on several occasions to create a child theme without success. I use twenty eleven themes and it should be a simple thing to create child themes. I'd highly appreciate any advice or assistance in this regard.

    Thanks,

    @mendy

    please start your own topic;
    your problem has nothing to do with the current topic.
