   Who can explain the difference between WordPress MU BuddyPress?

   WordPress MU is no longer supported, it was for Multi site setup

   WordPress 3.0 can now be single, or multi site

   multi site allows users to sign up and get their own blogs on your site, or you have many sites

   like domain..com, domain.com/site1, domain.com/site2
   or domain.com, site1.domain.com, site2.domain.com
   all using one WP install. The super admin has some level of control over all the sites...

   Google wordpress 3.0 multi site for more

   BuddyPress is a plugin that can be used on WP, either single site, or multi site

   It adds various social networking aspects, forums, profiles, PMs, etc

   Buddypress will detect the network being active and add "create a blog!" links.
