I received this email for my sites:
Howdy! Your site at http://www.xxxyyy.com has been updated automatically to WordPress 3.7.2. …..

Is WP actually updating sites without asking for permission? Its hard to believe. Who is responsible if something goes wrong? Did the NSA require a new backdoor or has one been closed or what is going on ?

See the 3.7 release notes http://codex.wordpress.org/Version_3.7 – That should have informed you as to what exactly you were updating, which I think was on the dashboard when you updated to 3.7.

By the way nobody’s held responsible with open source projects that are developed and maintained by a community.

    Thats a completely different issue.
Of course I use the software on my own risk, but updating my installation on my file server without my permission?

Hello, Is there anyway we can roll back the automatically updated WordPress.

As soon as it was updated our SellFire plug in stopped working. Pages are not rendering and our customers are not able to click on our products.

    Please Advise
