Did this Godaddy install work... (5 posts)

I'm a rookie, but used WP.com in the past. Godaddy did the install, and I tried to reinstall... for some reason this is set-up as a 3 column site... it clearly isn't 3 columns, and I don't know what's happening with the lack of color.

I did an install of DIY Themes, and it just doesn't change. I also have a problem navigating the dashboard as there is no color or depth there either - it's just blue text on white background; sometimes the blue text lays over itself... not sure what the fix is since reinstalling didn't seem to work... thanks for any advice...

I installed using GOdaddy too. The page displays only text and links. No menu. No widgets. Nothing. In the dashboard, overlapping texts appear. Install buttons dont work. I wanted to get this site running by tonight. I would be very grateful if someone can help me out here. http://harishkrishan.com

  3. @manyAface, please start your own topic. Your problem really is different from the original poster.

@rschmansky, Weird. The site looks fine but that's not three columns alright. Have you tried populating all three columns with dummy text widgets just to see what happens?

That's a commercial child theme so you may have better luck getting support from http://themedy.com/forum/discussions

Thanks Jan! I wasn't able to log-in again last night, but it was definately on godaddy's end... the guy on the other end of the line gave me a few lines like - 'wierd' and 'that's not right.'

@manyAface, I'd call GD up. I wanted for about 6 hours to get an email response.
