Hello,
I've just moved my blog from one server to another.
Lots of accents in the posts are now showing as black diamonds in Safari.
The characters are fine in the database - just not showing correctly in the pages.
The page encoding is fine too. And accents show fine for new posts.
Anyone got any ideas how to solve it?

Most likely, different versions of MySQL database. Older versions were dumb (and buggy) when it came about correct encoding and collation.
I'd compare what is in the DB for the present/newer accented characters and run a search and replace. (there is a plugin with such name)
