Developing new version of existing site – links don't work

    My site has been up and running for a year and I’m ready to do some cleanup and refactoring. To do this I’ve created a new WP installation off a subdirectory. The idea is I’ll work on this until it is ready and then point my domain to the new site.

    Getting to the main page is no problem. But when I add pages the links don’t work. Or in page edit mode, “View Page” doesn’t work.
