    I have 3 big problems

    http://darran.digital-pulse.net/blog/

In firefox, the header has a white spacing above it, how do I get
    rid of it it.

In IE and firefox, the footer lies at the bottom of the sidebar, I
have tried editing the sidebar and style.css but there seems no
    improvement

Here, at the bottom, the sidebar does not seem to be kept within the content box.

I would appreciate it if anyone can help me

The files are here as follows

    I don't see the whitespace - fixed ?

The footer - that is an inherent problem with the Classic theme that you are using.
You need to slightly restructure the footer area of the blog.
Essentially, you put the 'credit' area inside it's own div, then clear the div.
A better way of explaining in the Gemini template:

which is the Classic theme fixed. Check the footer area and just copy that code and the matching css.
