Design Issues With Fluid Blue (3 posts)

    Hi:

    For our blog at http://www.stopsexistremarks.org, we are using the Fluid Blue theme, which we like except for a few things:

    (1) The typesize of the Post titles is too big

    (2) The headings in the sidebar are all caps, and we’d rather have them caps and lowercase

    (3) All numbered lists appear flush right, and it’s impossible to insert a space between the numbered items, which makes lists hard to read (see the lists at http://www.stopsexistremarks.org/take-action/taking-action-in-college-and-university-settings/ for example)

    Are these the kinds of problems that I can fix by learning CSS? If not, I’ll need to find another theme because these design problems are deal-breakers for us.

    Thanks for your help.

    Yes, it can all be done with css tweaks.

    Find the following in the theme style.css:

    h1 {font-size:2.6em;}
    h2 {font-size:2em;}
    h3 {font-size:1.6em;}
    h4 {font-size:1.2em;}
    h5 {font-size:1em;}
    h6 {font-size:0.8em;}

    Lower the font-size value of h2 to decrease the size of the post title.

    In that same file, find the following code:

    }

    #sidebar ul h2 {
    	margin:0;
    	padding:0;
    	color:#4588c4;
    	font-size:1.2em;
    	text-transform:uppercase;
    }

    Completely delete the text-transform line, so it looks like this:

    }

    #sidebar ul h2 {
    	margin:0;
    	padding:0;
    	color:#4588c4;
    	font-size:1.2em;
    }

    Then, in that same file, find the following code:

    }

    .post p, .post ol li, .post ul li{
    	margin-top:0;
    	font-size:1.2em;
    	line-height:1.5em;
    	text-align:justify;
    }

    and completely delete the text-align line so it looks like this:

    }

    .post p, .post ol li, .post ul li{
    	margin-top:0;
    	font-size:1.2em;
    	line-height:1.5em;
    }
