descending order in list view?

I’m using this (very handy!) plugin on this prototype page:

and I’d like to be able to add a shortcode parameter to make an instance (for past events) appear in reverse chronological order, e.g. order=desc (where order=asc is the default)… Does anyone know how I can do this? … I’m a bit concerned about using this plugin after reading the ‘no longer supported’ post from about 3 weeks ago, but it does seem to do almost everything I need, right ‘out of the box’ … Many thanks in advance for any suggestions! 🙂
