I uploaded the demo mode plugin and when I activated it, my blog went into demo mode as expected. The problem is I can't log into the admin panel to view the blog, make changes, deactivate plugin, etc.
Please advise.

Just delete the plugin folder/files that you uploaded for that plugin.
