Demic Plugin question

Hi,

This probably makes me seem like a bit of a demic but please answer me as I only want a simple webpage up and running!

I have installed the latest wordpress, and tehn added the plugin paged comments. I basically want to create a guestbook similair to this one here so that fans can leave comments. http://www.whitetown.co.uk/guestbook/

I have activated the paged-comment plugin, but cant seem to find any way to add it to the page? Am I missing a crucial step out?

I think tried Guestbook generator and whilst this works ok, I want to edit the template (is this in the stylesheet?) and changed it so that includes the paged comments ability to page comments and have the newest at the top (it says it can be done here (http://www.alleba.com/blog/2006/09/21/wordpress-guestbook-generator-plugin/)

I know php, etc but just cant seem to get a handle on all this. any help appreciated!
