[resolved] Deleting Spam one-by-one increase counter (14 posts)

When I delete spam one-by-one using the 'Delete Permanently' link, the "n items" text in the top right (below search box) increases instead of decreasing.

  2. If you refresh the page, does the number go right?

Yes a refresh will fix it. If I go really slowly it stays correct also. Just when I delete one per second that it starts going up.

Oh, just started deleting again after the refresh (originally it started at 37) it was at 33, then I deleted one more and it popped back to 44 and the next delete it was at 45.

  5. That's odd. I would try turning off your other plugins.

Turned them all off, and deleted 5 spam 1 at a time and it ended up at 8.

  7. Mine zero's out as expected...

    What theme are you using?

Twenty Ten, will try Twenty Elven to see what that does.

But I'm not sure why the theme should effect it as it's the admin page, not the main view.

Ether way the issue occurs under with Twenty Elven set as the theme.

  10. Functions in a theme can effect everything :)

What version of PHP and SQL are you running?

This is likely a server issue, but I'm not sure where.

    First point conceded.

    PHP 5, MySQL 4

  12. MySQL 4

Seriously? Cause you need SQL 5 for WP 3.2

Gulp! Well I'll just ignore this issue, and just get on to trying to get that shorted out. One way or another...

  14. Yeah, SQL 4 to 5 is NOT a minor task :/
