   Hello There,

   Could anyone please let me know how I can delete the authors name and comments from pages?

   Sure, via the Comments tab to the left. It looks like a comic strip quote box.

   Thanks for this. I clicked on the comments tab and I can see the comments on the right hand side. However, beyond that I could not follow exactly what I needed to do to stop offering the comments option to my visitors. I am also not interested in showing my name as an author of a page on the website. But I am not sure how to handle that as well?

   To completely disable comments, go to Settings >> Discussion. To remove your name, you'll have to edit your template files to remove the name. Look for <?php the_author(); ?>.
