deleting calendar sidebar widget

    Let’s face it, I am a newbie and barely know what I am doing, so I get lost very easily.

    A calendar widget is not displaying properly. I had thought that by adding it again the first one would be replaced but now I have two calendars showing improperly.
    I want to remove the calendar widget from my LH sidebar <beastupathletics.co>
    When I am in the dashboard and click on widgets it shows the active ones with a live button to “add” the widget but nothing that will allow me to delete a widget. Matter of fact, I have not noticed anywhere in the dashboard where I can delete an individual widget, let alone, all the widgets.

    I mention deleting all the widgets as I see in a number of posts that this is the recommended way of getting rid of a widget.

    While I am at it, is there a recommended calendar widget/plugin to use instead of the one that is now in place?

    Open up the widget you want to delete by pressing the down arrow to the right of the widget name (i.e. “Calendar”). You should see a link that says “delete” that will let you remove each widget.

    You can also drag a widget temporarily out of the active area over to the Inactive Widgets area. That way, you can get it back later if you want to.

    I’ll let someone else chime in on recommended calendar widgets as I don’t have any experience with those.
