GTmetrix for WordPress
[resolved] Deleting a report leaves orphan wp_postmeta entries (6 posts)

Great plugin! Makes performance testing very easy!

I'd like to point a possible problem though: when I delete a test, the wp_post entry is deleted, but related wp_postmeta entries are not an become orphan ones.

    I use WP 3.5.1 and GTmetrix 0.4.

Thanks for the heads up, Jose.

We'll address this issue in the next release.

Actually, we cannot replicate this issue. How are you deleting your tests?

Clicking on the little "X" on the right of the test results.

    Hello again,

Version 0.4.1 will shortly be released, but I am unable to replicate the issue you describe. wp_postmeta entries are deleted when the associated wp_posts record is deleted in my tests. In fact, this cascading delete is a core WP function, so should always work.

Can I ask you to double check that you have observed this issue? If so, I'd like to take a look at it myself, if you wouldn't mind? You can email us at wordpress@gtmetrix.com.
