Hi,
I did a couple test posts once I got wordpress up and running. I tested out my feed in Google Reader and everything was cool. I deleted those test posts from wordpress, but found that they're still displayed in Google Reader -- even in an account that didn't subscribe to the feed until after I killed the posts.
Is it because Google Reader cached them and remembers? Will everyone who subscribes to the feed through Google see my test posts?
I'm going to install the Feedburner plugin, but am concerned that it might somehow pick up my deleted posts, even though my feed file only contains the two remaining posts. Should I be concerned?
Thx.
Well.... knowing google, those junk test posts are probably there for the duration.... and while you may be able to find some contact for google and ask them to remove them, I wouldn't bet on A: finding the contact info; B: getting any response from google.
So yeah, they're probably there until they "age out" - whenever that is.

Oh yeah, aging out... that's cool. Thanks!
Can anyone confirm if this is definitely the case. I don't think our blog had been added to a google reader before the posts had been deleted. I really would like to get rid of the deleted posts from the feed...
