This is strange and I’ve never heard of this issue before. What version of WordPress are you running? Are you sure you did not select the usermeta table instead of the postmeta table?

Ok, I just realised I’m running 3.5 RC3… Yes, I’m sure I didn’t select that.
Yeah, I just tested it on a 3.4.2 install – selected posts/postmeta table and they reset just fine.
in 3.5 RC3, is there an error that gets thrown or it just logs you out of the administration panel after it resets? Also, do the posts/postmeta tables get reset or does it not do anything?

It just logs you out. So you can’t log in again unless you manually insert a new user in the db. I didn’t check if the post/postmeta was reset.

I’m going to be releasing version 2.1 either today or tomorrow for the latest stable version of WP.
Once 3.5 comes out I’ll look into your issue and test some more. Thanks again.
