Hi guys, thank you for the 2.0. It's great and I really like it.

    Here's my question.
I grabbed a 2.0 package and did a fresh-install on my web hosting.
I played with it around to learn how to use things.
And then I deleted my database because it's just a test.
However, when I tried to remove the wp2 files, I could remove everything but the "upload" directory.
I tried to chmod 777 in my FTP client, but I got a "Bad file description" error.
Then I looked at the owner and group, it has both been changed to 99.
Any idea of what I can do to help myself?
My hosting company does not offer me a telnet/ssh access.
I wanted to start over again for my first blog.
    Thanks a lot. Take care.

    Environment:
    FreeBSD 5.x, Apache 1.3, PHP 4.41, mySQL 4.0x

Apache owns your folder, so only apache can do anything to it.
Been there had that happen to me .... very very annoying.

I got round it by changing the folder name (to XXXXXXXX) and then asking the host to nuke it from their end. Even shell access will probably not help you here.

I see. Thanks for the answer.
I think I'll just leave it there until I run out of space then.
I hope there will be a run around in 2.01. Thx. ;D
