We don't delete posts unless there's a compelling reason. You posted that in the 'Your WordPress' section, asking people to come look at your site.

Hello and thanks for the response.
The reason I'm asking to delete it is because of upcoming scheduled downtime during the next week or two - re-doing some things and so on.
Sorry but that's not classed as a compelling reason.
