   Since upgrading to 2.7 there's a signiifcant delay between the submission of a comment and the time when the page reloads and it appears.

   Normal loading of the site is fine. I've made sure the only comment related plug-in (Askimet) is up to date.

   Any ideas?

   It doesn't necessarily have to be a comment-related plugin that is causing the slowdown. Have you tried disabling ALL plugins and seeing if the slowdown is still there?
